Georgians perceive eating as a special ritual, and its preparation as a separate art form. If less than 20 people are sitting at the Georgian table and they silently consume food without wine, without making long toasts, then this phenomenon cannot be considered a traditional feast. 1st day in Tbilisi : Capital

  • If you think that in Georgia you will only deal with “gluttony”, then you are deeply mistaken. The gastronomic tour includes a rich excursion program. After meeting at the airport, our driver will take you to the very heart of Tbilisi – the old city, and our guide will conduct an informative tour for you. After that, we will visit a small winery, and you will see the technological process of making real Georgian wine. Then we will have lunch at one of the many restaurants in Tbilisi and visit interesting places, one way or another connected with winemaking.


2 day Kutaisi: 2nd capital.

  • On the second day of our autotravel, we will go to Kutaisi, with a stop at the “Imereti Yard”. This object is located in Mtatsiminda park. “Imereti Yard” is a traditional Georgian dining room where you can get acquainted not only with national cuisine, but also with folklore. Upon arrival in Kutaisi, our guide will introduce you to the main attractions of the city, and after that – we will go on a visit, have dinner. You will learn what a real Georgian feast is, because throughout the evening you will be entertained and treated in every way by all members of one Georgian family.


Day 3 Adjara : Batumi

  • The Autonomous Republic of Adjara is located in the southwestern part of Georgia, you have the right to choose what to visit here – Batumi or Beshumi. In any case, our path will lie through Megrelia, a subethnic region inhabited by megrels, who are jokingly called “Georgian Jews.” If you prefer Beshumi, then the first point that we will visit in Megrelia will be the city of Poti. Here we will meet with fishermen who are sure to share their catch with you.


Day 5 Pasanauri : Ananuri Fortress

  • Pasanauri is located on the banks of the Aragvi River. It is noteworthy that there are no outstanding sights, but there are beautiful landscape views. Although, tourists come here not only for this. They specially come to Pasanauri to eat khinkali. So, as part of our road trip, we will visit a khinkal restaurant, the fame of which spread far beyond the borders of Georgia. This is not surprising, because Pasanauri is the main “Khinkal” city, because this dish was invented here. You will be able to try branded khinkali, which are called Pasanaur. Then we will visit the Ananuri fortress and go to an ethnographic dinner for very nice people.
